Wow! this is not what I expected at all. I thought this would be some sad book about a girl who gets bullied and finds a guy and they fall in love and all that shit.

Well lets say it is about that but not in that kind of way I described it. Instead its a really depressing, heartbreaking, beautiful book about a girl who is bullied and has to stay strong and Keep Holding On and in a way she meets a really nice guy who cares about her.

description

I am in still school and from what I remember I have never been bullied. Maybe once, but that’s it. And not as serious as Noelle’s experience. But some of my friends were bullied and I bullied some people*gasps*. Yeah I did. And I regret it, A LOT. Sometimes we all bully people without knowing or do it on purpose. And sometimes we
don’t. We see bullying everywhere. This book will always hold a special place in my heart and it touched me deeply. It was achingly beautiful. And even if it did have its flaws, it deserves every star. There shouldn’t be any bullying. EVER.

Noelle is in high school and gets bullied everyday since something happened to her in middle school. Her life in school is the worst and so is her life at home. Her mom doesn’t care about her and reminds her everyday that she is a mistake. She has a best friend and a boyfriend. But that boyfriend is obviously just using her. Her best friend loves her and would do anything for her. Her life at school is HORRIBLE. I mean I didn’t even know that there were people bullied that way. Its the worst nightmare ever and I could somehow feel her pain and frustration. Noelle gets teased, laughed at, and named-called. Every worst way possible…

But Jullian Porter starts noticing her…

description

Jullian is a cute guy. He is nice, has friends and obviously likes Noelle. He would do anything for her.

and just as she is about to give up,her life starts changing…

description

Now I wont spoil the book. I want you all to read it. But let me just say that this book is amazing. It just is.

description

Noelle was an amazing character. She’s an immensely strong willed person to have kept herself together the way she did. She is intelligent and caring. She has a huge heart that has been trampled on, but she never gives up. And I love her for that. She was beautiful.

description

Noelle did makes some mistake and was sometimes not able to see the truth because of the bullying. She always thought she would never have anybody but then came Jullian.

description

I liked Jullian. He wasn’t mentioned that much in book. I found this book to be more about Noelle trying to survive than romance. But Jullian was always there and he was sweet and he liked Noelle and wanted to be with her no matter what.

description

The side characters had big roles and each had a story of their own. They were amazing even the bad ones. The situation with her and her mom was very realistic. Not exaggerated at all. That part of Noelle and her mom does happen now a days. Kids have to take care of themselves and stand their bad parents.

There were some flaws. For example: some of the characters would just disappear and you wouldn’t know what happened to them and there were some unanswered questions. I thought the book could be a bit longer and a bit more realistic. But it was well written and very touching. And can make you emotional. This book can help a lot of teens in so many ways.

And it focuses more on the bullying and how the characeter is trying to stay strong. The bullying that Noelle went through is very strong. I mean I would have called it violence instead of bullying. But the way she tried to survive and never gave up was just beautiful.

In conclusion the beautiful Susane did an awesome job(as she was also bullied in high school) and she deserves 100 trizillion applause’s.

I recommend this to some people. Not everybody because it can be strong and can bring memories. But if you ever do read this book be prepared. I mean it.

I thought Skyscraper by Demi Lovato was the right song for the book:

Skies are crying, I am watching
Catching teardrops in my hands
Only silence, as it’s ending, like we never had a chance.
Do you have to make me feel like, there’s nothing left of me?

You can take everything I have
You can break everything I am
Like I’m made of glass
Like I’m made of paper
Go on and try to tear me down
I will be rising from the ground
Like a skyscraper, like a skyscraper

As the smoke clears
I awaken and untangle you from me
Would it make you feel better to watch me while I bleed
All my windows, still are broken, but I’m standing on my feet

You can take everything I have
You can break everything I am
Like I’m made of glass
Like I’m made of paper
Go on and try to tear me down
I will be rising from the ground
Like a skyscraper, like a skyscraper

Go run run run I’m gonna stay right here
Watch you disappear yeah
Go run run run yeah it’s a long way down
But I’m closer to the clouds up here

You can take everything I have
You can break everything I am
Like I’m made of glass
Like I’m made of paper
Ohh
Go on and try to tear me down
I will be rising from the ground
Like a skyscraper, like a skyscraper
Like a skyscraper, like a skyscraper
Like a skyscraper
