Love at first sight with…a book :D

What is the book that still leaves you amazed?

Do you remember that first book you read and you loved it so much you wouldn’t let it go or you would just re-read it over and over again? Do you remember that book that you would just daydream about or just drool over the hero or heroine? Do you remember that book that no matter what, you wished you could live in that world or no matter what, you would trade places with one of the characters because you would just die to live that experience? Do you remember that book that gave you ideas, made you brave, or made you realize how life truly is? Do you remember that book that you still think about and no matter how much you try to explain the beauty it has, nobody gets you? Do you remember that book that you treasure so much you are reading it to your kids, nieces, and nephews?

That is the book you have fallen in love with and treasure forever. The book of your memories. The book that you met and fell in love with on the very first page.

That is why I love books so much! I am so glad men had the knowledge of writing and reading. That is why books were created. So that when we read we enter a whole new beautiful world that we never want to get out of. That is why we fall in love with a book when we read the first page. Because we read a story that we wish would be our life…books were created so we can experience what the author created and we can imagine what the author expects us to imagine.

So “If love was a storybook we’d meet on the very first page”
That quote describes exactly what happens to me when I start reading a book I love…and will always treasure and remember.

Books I have fallen in love with:

Because of You by Sam Mariano

Tigerlily by Jodi Anderson

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Night Moves by Andrea Smith

Between Shades of Grey Ruta Sepesky

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Ekles

Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

Just Listen by Sarah Dessen

And many more!!

  2. The first book I can ever remember (you’re going to laugh) was something like, “Munsters Go Home.” Yes, it was a kid’s book, I was very, very young and it was my very first book about a new adventure of the characters from the t.v. show, The Munsters.
I have a big smile on my face now, thank you! 😀
